photograph of Laura Min JacksonLaura Min Jackson is an award-winning writer and consultant specializing in strategic communications and leadership coaching. As a writer, teacher, consultant, and certified instructor of The Nia Technique®, she is dedicated to helping individuals, groups and organizations achieve greater health, creativity, and growth.   

Her consulting expertise includes change management and leadership; branding and organizational culture, and crisis/conflict communications, primarily for organizations in the healthcare, business-to-business, and consumer industries.  She also provides individualized coaching for enhancing personal and professional effectiveness.  

Laura has worked with successful start-ups, established corporations, and international consultancies.  Prior to launching her consulting practice, she was vice president of global communications for an NYSE-traded, Fortune 1000/MidCap 400 firm, where she oversaw all corporate communications and was the company’s top management communications coach, helping executives strengthen their strategic communications skills with investors, employees, customers, and the media. She also led international training programs and coached individuals and teams in conflict resolution, interpersonal effectiveness, public presentations, and crisis preparedness and response. 

Laura has been a facilitator and guest faculty member for such organizations as The Conference Board, Columbia University, Women in Thoracic Surgery, Il Foro Cardiovascular, and AmericaSpeaks/The Citizens Healthcare Working Group.  She currently is a volunteer facilitator for Greet the Day, a Southern California-based nonprofit organization that assists cancer survivors.  She is a member of the Professional Communications Exchange and the Asian-American Business Association, and a board member of Backhausdance, a regional nonprofit contemporary dance company.  

Laura holds the distinction of serving as an adjunct faculty member for both the College of Business & Economics and the College of Communications at California State University, Fullerton.  She is a contributing author to Awakening the Workplace: Achieving Connection, Fulfillment and Success at Work (ISBN 0-9780283-0-9), and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Cal State Fullerton, as well as a master’s in Organization Development from Pepperdine University.
